Iranian Foreign Minister responds to Trump: People in the Middle East want U.S.troops to withdraw from the

US President Trump gave a speech entitled "Embrace Peace" Coolingdown the current round of tensions between the United States and Iran. Onthe morning of the 9th local time, Iranian Foreign Minister Zarif made thefirst response.

He said on social media Trump that "pretty military equipment" cannotrule the world, but people can. The people of the Middle East "wantthe Americans to leave."

Zarif cited his words in an interview earlier in: "Beautiful weapons cannot rule the world."

Zarif also attached an interview with CNN, saying Bertrand Pu was instilledwith false information. Iran responded militaryly and fulfilled itsprevious commitments.

After Trump ordered the assassination of Iranian General Suleimani on the 3rd,Iranian leaders vowed revenge. However, Trump threatened that if Irandared to fight back, the United States would come up with "new andbeautiful" weapons from its $ 2 trillion in weapons costs and hit Iran"quickly and sternly."

Zarif was interviewed by CNN during the 2020 Tehran Dialogue Forum and made theabove response to Trump's remarks.

In the early hours of January 8, local time, Iran fired dozens of missiles attwo US military bases in Iraq. Zarif subsequently stated that Iran hascompleted the self-defense measures taken under the UN Charter and will notseek to wage war, but will fight back against any form of aggression.

On the other hand, Trump delivered a speech at noon on the 8th, saying thatthere were no casualties in the US military and that he would impose economicsanctions on Iran. However, he also stated that he had no intention ofusing force and that the United States was "ready to embrace peace withall those seeking it."
